Colour in the Bathroom

Roman Bathrooms

Whilst the days of the avocado bathroom suites are long gone, we are seeing a revival of colour in the bathroom.  Bathroom sanitaryware has been white for a long time now but we are seeing colour being introduced in some special and different ways, not just splashes of coloured tiles or accessories.

Utopia has introduced fitted bathroom furniture in soft muted colours on traditional shaker style doors for a classic look. For the period home, Victoria & Albert offer a range of freestanding baths that are ready to paint any colour you like.

In a modern setting, new technology has pushed the boundaries in bathroom design so it is now possible to have LED lights in your showerhead or an electric shower that is illuminated or colour matched to your room.

We are loving the new Lumi and Sassi shower ranges from Aqualisia.  The Lumi incorporates a mirrored glass fascia that can be set to match your mood.  Need energising? Lumi’s brightest setting will get you ready for the day. In the mood to relax? Choose a more modest light to calm your senses.

The Sassi has five interchangeable mosaic colours mounted on a luxury glass fascia to coordinate perfectly with your bathroom décor.  Choose from Sassi Stone through to Sassi Pink, there’s a colour available to enhance your bathroom.

Take a look at the video for these two new showers here and call in to the showroom to discuss how to add some colour into your bathroom.
