An Eye Catching Kitchen Transformation
The idea of using our company began when Rhona Collins’ son first purchased some items from us. Apparently, he was very impressed with our knowledge and what we had to offer. In addition, it helped that his parents liked what he’d purchased, so when it came time for them to make some changes to their own home, Roman Bathrooms were the natural choice.
The original kitchen in Rhona and Trevor’s home had been extended some years ago by the previous owners but to them, it had never felt like one room. They were looking for ways to pull everything together, as part of the complete refurbishment.
To begin the process, the couple visited us at our showroom, bringing with them their initial ideas. On the list was the one ‘ask for’ item of an island, to help the flow of the room. Designer Claire listened to their ideas, incorporating everything and making her own suggestions along the way.
“We then talked price,” Rhona says, “as it’s vital to establish a budget. When everyone was happy, we booked in the work. The company is very busy, so we didn’t mind waiting a few months. We just looked forward to getting started.”
Now the kitchen is complete, the couple are delighted with the result, saying “Claire put together an eye-catching design, especially the incorporation of a breakfast bar with modern high leather chairs looking out onto the garden. We spend so much time there now watching the birds, the dining room hasn’t been used since! We’re absolutely delighted with everything from the design through to the workmanship.”
