An Updated and Accessible Kitchen Design

Liz and Tony Keeling called us in around 18 months ago to supply and fit them a bathroom. Having called in different people to quote then, they were so impressed with our work, that when it came to refurbishing their kitchen recently, they didn’t look elsewhere!

We were delighted to be working with them again. The kitchen was due an update and Liz was also looking for something more accessible. It was no longer easy to reach into the back of cupboards, or clean the oven, so she asked us for our ideas.

“I was very impressed with the designer Claire and what she came up with,” says Liz. “Although due to the size of the room, there wasn’t much scope to change things, the ideas she incorporated showed a lot of skill and imagination and they’ve really made a difference to how I can operate in there now.”

These changes include an eye-level double oven, several slide-out pan drawers and slide and swivel units. The units are a classic design from Mereway, in a cream colour, which are complemented by granite work surfaces and Karndean flooring. It’s all very classic, easy to keep and won’t date.

“We’re very pleased with the overall kitchen,” says Liz, “from the ideas to the workmanship to the finished product – we’re happy that we chose Roman Bathrooms once again.”
